2014 foaling season

I thought it would be nice to write a little blog following my mares through their  2014 foaling season . There isn't going to be a great deal to write about until it gets a little closer but Ill update the page when they start to bag up ,when I see the first changes in their body shape  and   the vulva starting  to relax , hopefully I'll be there through the birth , and be able to share the complete foaling with you and post pics taken within minutes of birth , I  hope you will be able to share special moments with me , like when Micatos Platinum met her filly  Celticmist Absolut Whisper for the very first time!

 I haven't missed many births because we do have them on CCTV and once they reach around 30 days we start to watch them more closely day and night 
My mares are pasture bred so I can't give you an exact foaling date but I did watch them closely and from the covering dates that Ive witnessed I think the first mare to foal will be  Micatos Platinum ,closely followed hailstone Red Hot Deile, I expect them both to foal in February ,  Meadowind Indys High Hopes and Micatos Farah Fawcet are due in March ,Lewingales Sea Star and Lecarrow Panache should foal in April
